"I authorised the kidnap of a different Santa, not yours." Jack says.
He sighs and shakes his head.
"I know I should have gone and checked on them sooner after they brought that Easter Bunny in, but it never occurred to me that they'd take a second Santa. Perhaps they simply wanted your most delicious Christmas foods so much..."
The ghost dog floats around to sniff Gene, wagging its' translucent tail.
"I never intended to harm anyone here." Jack continues. "I just wanted to bring them Christmas myself. I tested out the presents; they had such fun with the pox, that I couldn't quite bring myself to own up at the time."
